ANDREJ KARPATHY

Andrej Karpathy is an AI researcher, educator, and entrepreneur best known as a co-founder of OpenAI and former Director of AI at Tesla, where he led the computer vision team for Autopilot. He earned his PhD at Stanford under Fei-Fei Li, helped design and teach Stanford’s influential CS231n deep learning course, and has become a widely followed educator through his AI lectures, writing, and open-source projects.
