Ivan ZhaoCo-founder & CEOIvan Zhao is the co-founder and CEO of Notion, where he leads the company’s long-running mission to make software toolmaking ubiquitous. A product- and design-centric founder, Zhao helped build Notion from an early “LEGO for software” vision into a widely used AI workspace for docs, wikis, projects, databases, search, and agents. Before Notion, he worked in product at Inkling and studied cognitive science and fine arts at the University of British Columbia.
Simon LastCo-founderSimon Last is a co-founder of Notion, where he has helped build the company’s flexible AI workspace for docs, wikis, projects, databases, search, and agents since its early days. An engineer and designer based in San Francisco, Simon has played a central technical and product role in Notion’s evolution from an early productivity tool into a widely used collaboration platform. He studied computer science at the University of Maryland and has also publicly backed AI and developer-tooling companies including Braintrust and Imbue.
Akshay KothariCo-founder & CPOAkshay Kothari is a co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Notion, where he helps lead product and company strategy for the AI workspace used by teams and individuals worldwide. He joined Notion in 2018 after nearly six years at LinkedIn, where he led product and international initiatives, including LinkedIn India. Earlier, Akshay co-founded Pulse, the mobile news-reader app started while he was a Stanford graduate student and acquired by LinkedIn in 2013. He holds electrical engineering degrees from Purdue University and Stanford University and is also an active angel investor in AI, SaaS, developer tools, HR, data, and productivity startups.
